     Stickney, the beautiful area Hawthorne is in, is too dreary and depressing to me.  Hard to even think of Hawthorne, let alone bet it, anymore.  augustwest

I sense a bit of negativity in you!  I love to play hawthorne because it is a traditional dirt racetrack, the handicapping angles of old still apply.  The pool sizes took on added money last year when people were unable to wager upon Santa Anita and continue to roll.  While there is some low quality there, its the tradition and the game that attract me back with gleaming excitement towards another new season!

Thats hilarious dave.  trying to get an early start at canibalizing the traditional dirt surface track forums i see.  don't think itl make too much of a difference!!!

Whats the only sport where you can steer your own horse in competition and not have to be 113 lbs?

appologies I haven't been back on the Hawthorne page.  Rest assured I am playing into the pools there.  **bleep** close to hitn that p6 carryover this past saturday.  Anyone else have any luck.
