Hello everyone
Just wanted to advise everyone that if you ever want one of your posts to be removed for whatever reason please send me a PM and I will look into it.
In general it's best to remove as little content as possible from the community, since information posted on the forum could be beneficial for more than just the discussion participants or even the members overall.
Deleting one's own posts is no longer a feature on the forum. Although the feature has its advantages, there are several problems with it, the main one being that it’s easy for people to accidentally delete entire threads instead of just the one post they might be trying to delete, and once something is deleted, it is extremely hard to get back.
If you need to rephrase something you can always use the edit feature.
Thank you

A message to all TVG Community members…
Recently the TVG Community has been hit by an epidemic of negativity and hostility. Bitter arguments in the public boards, and nasty comments directed at both fellow community members and TVG Talent. Needless to say, this adversely affects the tone of the community and the enjoyment factor of everyone visiting (not to mention making life more difficult for the moderators!) I want to address both the infighting between community members as well as hostility towards TVG Talent. I’ll start with the former.
One of the great things about the TVG Community is the ability to share your ideas and thoughts with likeminded racing fans across the world. Most of these fans are people that you would have never met without being involved in the TVG Community, and in the little time we’ve been up and running, I’ve already seen friendships formed and racing insight shared on an extraordinary level. Of course, not everyone is going to agree with every opinion posted. We definitely encourage everyone to share their thoughts and post what they think, but when responding to your fellow community members, it should be in a respectful manner. Arguments with name calling that go back and forth for page after page and snide responses to a post accomplish nothing except making everyone involved look bad, as well as deter new visitors from participating. Would you say these things to someone in person? Everyone here loves horse racing, and the goal of the TVG Community is to be a place of enjoyment for fans of racing.
Moving along… I realize that people have strong opinions on which TVG Talent they do and don’t like. Guess what? We want your feedback, and value it. For any feedback to be taken seriously though, it needs to be constructive criticism. A good rule of thumb before you post something about talent is this… “Is this something I would feel comfortable saying to them in person?”
So, what can you do? As cliché as it sounds, be a part of the solution. You can have your opinion, but be gracious about it. When things get heated, don’t make it personal. Don’t get baited into responding to someone who is trying to get under your skin. You can always flag an inappropriate message for the moderators; we see everything that gets flagged. Everyone behind the scenes of the TVG Community strongly want people to be able to say what they want, but it’s vital that members exercise responsibility in what they post as well.
Thanks, and remember, you can review the TVG Community Guidelines here:

TVG-BETFAIR SPONSORSHIP BOOSTS NYRA'S BELDAME PURSE TO $1 MIL FOR POSSIBLE RACHEL, ZENYATTA SHOWDOWN
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -TVG and Betfair, Ltd - the largest, legal online wagering businesses in the U.S. and around the world, respectively - have pledged an additional $400,000 to The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) to invite Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta to participate in the Beldame Stakes at Belmont Park. With the $400,000 title sponsorship by TVG-Betfair, NYRA will raise the purse of the historic Grade 1 Beldame Stakes to $1 million if the starting gate includes both Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta, two of the most successful female runners in racing history.
"TVG-Betfair and NYRA are thrilled to offer the owners of these two great horses the chance to participate in a Beldame for the ages," said Gerard Cunningham, president of Betfair US. "Racing fans have been clamoring for Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta to square off all year and the Beldame presents the best opportunity for the two 'Horse of the Year' contenders to meet at one of racing's best venues."
Rachel Alexandra, owned by Jess Jackson of Jackson Family Wines, has won her last eight races, including the Preakness Stakes where she became the first filly to win the race since 1924. Record executive and co-founder of A&M Records Jerry Moss owns Zenyatta, named after the album Zenyatta Mondatta by "The Police", who remains undefeated in 12 career starts and won last year's Eclipse Award as champion older filly or mare. The Beldame will be run on October 3 at 1 1/8 miles, a distance over which Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta have each captured three Grade 1 events.
"We are very excited to partner with TVG-Betfair and provide the venue and opportunity for fans to see the race of a lifetime," said NYRA President and CEO Charles Hayward. "Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta are two of the most talented females that thoroughbred racing has ever witnessed, and Belmont Park would be the perfect setting for this dream match-up. We would expect the race to draw a stellar field to be part of racing history."
Belmont Park and the Beldame Stakes have long, prestigious histories of showcasing the most sensational horses in championship-caliber performances.
Two of the most accomplished distaffers of all time each won back-to-back runnings of the Beldame, with history-making undefeated champion Personal Ensign victorious in 1987 and '88 and Lady's Secret capturing the race in 1985 and '86, with the latter victory part of her Horse of the Year season. Lady's Secret is one of only three fillies or mares to win the gold Eclipse Award as Horse of the Year, along with Azeri in 2002 and All Along in 1983, but both Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra will be vying for that title this year. Champion Serena's Song won the Beldame in 1995 following her victories in the Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont and the Haskell, both races won this year by Rachel Alexandra.
Belmont Park has hosted more great races in all divisions than any other track in North America. Some of the most memorable include Affirmed's determined Belmont Stakes victory by a head to cap his Triple Crown rivalry with Alydar in 1978; the champion filly Rags to Riches stunning defeat of eventual Horse of the Year Curlin in the 2007 Belmont Stakes, and Personal Ensign's come-from-behind triumph over Kentucky Derby-winning filly Winning Color in the 1988 Maskette Stakes, a precursor of their 1-2 finish in the Breeders' Cup Distaff.
