5 1/2 turf
2. Le Chesnay: Speed and the rail for this 4yo who will likely fade again.
3. Kitty **bleep**: 31st start for plodder type.
4. Meese Rocks: Just broke maiden off year layoff, so where does she go from here ? Up or Down? I say down.
1. Shot Gun Gal. Going to be an intersting duel between this one and Ed Meese. Shot Gun will be on the outside and behind Ed Meese, she is getting seven pounds.
5. Two Moons: Broke maiden at Belmont in slop by 13- this is first try on grass. I am pitching.
6. Rapid Beat: Speed outside of the rail horse hasnt been on grass before. I am pitching parts of a projected duel and now zeroing in on a closer.
7. Carey's Coming: Mott Des closer pops up just as I was thinking along these lines; Broke maiden as favorite on turf. Was scheduled to run on aug 23 but scratched, also note break in work tab from July 30 race until Aug 18. Nonetheless seems to be coming around for win number two.
8. Hold the Cruiser: Beaten favorite in last, only win came on dirt not grass; Not totally dissmilar from the Mott, but I prefer Mott when possible.
9. Leader of the Lite: 4yo seems to be part of losing pace scenario
10 Z Cat Meow: For me this a low percentage barn that I almost never play and will not play today.
11. Red Hot Baby: Last race was open company, steps back in against state breds. Doesnt seem like grassy type.
looks like a 7-8 box on the two closers theory.

Just watched the replay of Hold the Cruiser's last race and saw a couple of important things:
1: Smashed coming out of the gate
2. Even though he saved ground on the turn, was badly blocked on his inside trip down the stretch. With clear sailing, I think he is going. Upgrading him to from a hold to a buy.
