I don't mind seeing it every now and then, I understand if somebody is busy and they forget the camera's are on and they streak by, but almost every program I watch somebody is walking by, waving or something. It's just distracting and un professional IMO. I'm not one to complain much, but I wish the producers would stop this practice. At no other cable channel would this ever be allowed. Just ask Chris Berman

I can't speak for people waving or mugging for the camera, but 1/2 of us don't have any choice but to walk by if we want to leave the newsroom.  No other way out.
