Anyone who thinks that was all out is insane, it was little more than a paid workout. If you really look at it you can see she ran from the 3/8 pole to the 1/8 pole in 22 and 1or 2 while swinging 5 wide at the 1/4 pole and then just cruised

Any horse will close with fast fractions when they crawl a 49 half. Whether they get up or not depends on the competition and those are really piggy types she's met all year..Anybody that doesn't recognize a horse who's peaked over a year ago doesn't know horses..She has leveled off and thats why they protect her with these 1 1/16th farces.

Of course they crawl. They tried to sprint away from her last year and they were 0-7.

It is no secret that the only way to beat the mare is to steal it with a slow pace. They almost got lucky at the Hirsch with 113 @6f and Smith asleep.

Slow pace, fast pace whatever pace is put infront of this mare is a non-issue. Beyer does not apply to her either.

She is one of the best deep closer ever.

She runs to win. Hopefully, she runs in the Classic and get  6 or 7-1.

That was poetry in motion,i gave her the most credit this year with that win..adding cocco to the field added appeal to me...but not that much...its one thing beating godolphins 3rd stringer its another taking on the world in open company...but with the defection of see the stars,it kinda opened the door...she can erase all the bad feelings i had this year if she were to take on the boys, i would respect that more even if she didnt win..

this doesnt mean that i think RA is HOY she earned it

5tvg....im going to be honest i wouldnt take in account the times from SA the race track just plays to Yattas style...hollywood is a bit different and del mar just the opposite at times...thats why i thought she was beat back in aug...same type of set up from the previous year...shes lucky she caught a real weak field that day..or she would have been beaten

back to the times...i have seen time and time again at SA the slower they go its not all that big a deal...when they hit the turn its the inside out wide move that usually prevails ,just watch last years breeders cup dirt races

Angman - No doubt it plays to her style. but back in Aug? Hirsch? it was a weak field but 113 3/5 @6f is walking and Smith was asleep. That was just a bad ride by Smith, no more no less. Check how for the first time ever Smith put Z infront of LIS. Usually Z stalks LIS. Not anymore, LIS is trying to slow the pace and hopefully Smithy has figure that out. Yes inside out move at SA is the line.

i totally agree with the hirsh comment,to be honest i have no idea why they ran her there,my thinking was she needed a race and knew they would catch a weak field other then lis..who i think is a grade 2 performer,shes no ginger punch,or azeri's or even music note or maybe even careless jewels shes probably aqlong the lines of the 10th or better best female racing today...but the feeling was remembering last years race ,where model (model who) almost beat her..the race was the most i ever seen smith ride her..i felt it was deja vu all over again,when i was watching the strech i said shes beat all the way down to the last jump...definetly a race a champion overcame,and only a champion can do thiings like that...but what a weak field it was,she was suppose to beat them,and i dont care how slow they went..smith didnt add to it,because he thought it was sa and that move would have been good enough,del mar and novice and lethal who?? almost got the best of her
