Kiss The Kid

It seems like not too long ago when I first read about Kiss The Kid.  Times flies, and now he's 6 years old and heading into his final race!  This picture is from 2008, when Kiss The Kid was 3rd in the Donn Handicap to Spring At Last, and is from horseracing.about.com.

Kiss The Kid likes New Jersey: as his best stakes performances have come at either Monmouth or The Meadowlands, where he won the Cozzene Stakes and the Gr. 3 Cliffhanger.

He also likes Florida tracks, but since this is the Meadowlands board, I won't go into those :-)

Good luck, Kid, come home safe Friday, hopefully a winner!

Re: Kiss The Kid

I am a Monmouth regular and I too wish Kiss the Kid luck. Even though I have probably lost more money on him than I a have won, I have a soft spot in my heart for him and I always seem to put some money on him no matter who he runs against. I have gone down to the paddock to see him and he's always a sight to see, on his toes , arching his neck and daring his foes to take him on.  I hope he has a nice long and productive life as a stallion and maybe I'll win some of my money back on his babies!

Give 'em hell Kid!

Re: Kiss The Kid

Kiss The Kid was game in his last start!  Great race, tough luck in defeat.  Here's the replay:

Re: Kiss The Kid

He was very game. I hope he has a great retirement and a whole lot of mares to support him!
